It’s with great pleasure that I share our recent accomplishments from our journeys across Asia Pacific and Europe. These experiences underscore our commitment to fostering excellence, safety, and collaboration within the diving community worldwide.

Asia Pacific Visit:

Accompanied by Beth Postell, our VP of Member Services, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the vibrant diving culture of the Republic of Korea. At SPOEX 2024, NAUI’s presence was palpable, a testament to our enduring legacy in the region. Amidst this excitement, I had the honor of meeting Miss SCUBA International, Hayley Adlam, and Miss Marine Conservation, Alysha Acosta, both emblematic of our shared values of safe diving practices and environmental stewardship. NAUI’s sponsorship of Miss SCUBA International, founded by esteemed member Mr. Robert Lo (#52686), embodies our commitment to promoting sustainable diving and global conservation efforts.

Our journey continued to Mabul Water Bungalows, where Robert Lo and his dedicated team orchestrate dive operations against the backdrop of Malaysia’s picturesque coral reefs. Here, we witnessed firsthand the intersection of passion and professionalism that defines NAUI’s global community.

At NAUI Services Asia Pacific, we were graciously hosted by Mr. William Tong, whose vision for growth in Asia is inspiring. Our discussions with the Director General of the Fire and Rescue Department Malaysia reaffirmed our commitment to enhancing public safety diving capabilities, a mission we embrace wholeheartedly.

DAN-EU Partnership:

Meanwhile, across the seas in Italy, Angelo Fiore, our VP of Global Sales, spearheaded our collaboration with Divers Alert Network-Europe (DAN-EU). This landmark partnership enables NAUI instructors to seamlessly integrate DAN-EU courses into their curriculum, empowering our members with essential lifesaving skills. Through the dedication of Dr. Alessandro Marroni, Laura Marroni, and our European members, this alliance heralds a new era of safety and expertise in European waters.
