NAUI Worldwide Launches DEMA Show Program

Tampa, Fla., (October 17, 2017) – The National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI Worldwide) invites dive industry members and leaders attending DEMA Show to participate in NAUI-sponsored seminars and training events and visit the NAUI booth to engage with NAUI members and explore several exciting initiatives NAUI has begun executing in 2017 and will carry out in 2018.

NAUI is extending availability for select workshops and exhibitor-sponsored seminars to the 1,400 DEMA-member companies representing the recreational diving and snorkeling industries. Space for this educational programming is limited so industry professionals are encouraged to sign up soon to take advantage of these unique training and leadership opportunities.

Key events requiring registration include the NAUI First Aid Instructor Update; Essentials for NAUI Leadership Development; Assessment of Public Safety Diving Standards, Knowledge, and Skill Levels; Teaching NAUI RGBM; and Knot Tying and Rigging for Divers. All seminars will be held in NAUI’s exclusive meeting rooms, S230C and S230D. Registration information can be found at naui.org/events/dema-show-2017/.

For more information, take advantage of NAUI’s recent release of its NAUI at DEMA Show Program. Included in the program are a message from NAUI’s executive director; in-depth seminar speaker information, times and locations for training sessions and workshops; member engagement opportunities; discounts, specials and promotions; and the release of its 2017 official NAUI award recipients.

Divers looking for exotic locations, live-aboards, and tropical or technical dive settings can find the information they seek at booth 1522. NAUI will showcase its affiliate dive destinations from across the globe, with many being available for in-person meetings and inquiries throughout the week. With new and revised training programs and business support materials, NAUI expects to see more dive destination locations joining NAUI’s network as it expands its reach and impact across the globe.

In preparation for DEMA, the 4th quarter issue of NAUI’s magazine, Sources: The Journal of Underwater Education, is set to go live this week. This issue features NAUI Public Safety Diving programs and training, as well as the DEMA Special Section, including the NAUI at DEMA Show Program. The show program will also be available as an ePUB for easy access throughout the show.

Throughout the week, NAUI Headquarters Member Services staff will be present in the booth (1522) to meet members and engage with international partners, provide customer support for apparel and training materials available at special affiliate pricing, introduce new products and promotional items, and celebrate the many successes of NAUI Worldwide in 2017. In addition, several NAUI items will be available as give-aways, including the ever-popular NAUI Duck and new items like NAUI scroll banners and orange Definition of Diving t-shirts.
